Most storefronts ask for a postcode because the software was designed somewhere that has them. The UAE does not deliver by postcode — it delivers by emirate, area and landmark, and a customer who has to invent a postal code to check out is a customer deciding whether they really wanted this.
Here the address form asks for the emirate, then the area, then the building — and the delivery charge follows from that, because that is how your courier prices it too.
