What does buy-now-pay-later cost you?
The fee is easy to see. The question worth asking is how much extra conversion it has to buy before it pays for itself.

The number to judge it on
A BNPL provider charges a merchant fee, typically a percentage plus a small per-order amount, and the rate is negotiated per merchant. That fee is charged by them directly — any platform adding its own margin on top should be asked why.
The right way to judge it is not the fee in isolation but the break-even: how many extra orders does offering it have to produce before the fee is paid for? On a low-value basket that number is often uncomfortable. On a basket above roughly AED 500 it usually is not.
Where it earns its keep is the product page, not the checkout. A shopper deciding on a AED 943 bottle behaves differently when they can see four payments of AED 236 while deciding. Showing it only at checkout means they have already left.
Provider rates are negotiated per merchant and change. Use your own quoted rate rather than the default here.
